Michael Blackson, founder and CEO of the Michael Blackson Foundation, is driven by a lifelong commitment to empower underprivileged children through education. Inspired by his own upbringing and the challenges he witnessed in Ghana, Michael established the Michael Blackson Academy to provide free, quality education and leadership development to children in need.
His vision is to break the cycle of poverty and enable every child to achieve their full potential, embodying the foundation's dedication to creating a brighter future for all.

Arash, our Grant and Fundraising Director at the Michael Blackson Foundation, is an entrepreneur with a dynamic background. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UCLA, he's ventured through diverse fields including finance, entertainment, and business /nonprofit consulting. His passion for education and empowerment is at the heart of his work, driving meaningful impact where it matters most.

Bright Okyere
Bright, with over ten years of teaching experience across Ghana, now leads as the administrator at Michael Blackson Academy in Ghana's central region. His rich background includes roles with Ghana's Electoral Commission and Statistical Service, and he is a firm believer in the power of education to transform lives, especially for the underprivileged.
At the academy, Bright ensures smooth administrative operations and supports the institution's goals, drawing on his vast experience to foster a positive impact.

Seth Oteng Nyarko
With over a decade of experience in educational psychology and leadership roles in Agona Nsaba, Seth now contributes his expertise to the Michael Blackson Academy by refining educational practices and fostering a vibrant learning environment. His passion for community upliftment and personal development is evident in his involvement in missionary work and his love for reading and sports.

Mabel Acheampong
Mabel brings a unique blend to the Michael Blackson Academy as a teacher with a psychology degree and six years of hands-on teaching experience. Her strong foundation in psychology not only enriches her teaching but also allows her to understand and support the individual developmental journeys of her students.
Her goal is to inspire confidence in students, empowering them to tackle challenges with innovative problem-solving skills.

Eric Addo
Eric is a teacher at Michael Blackson Academy with a background in educational psychology and four years of collaborative experience in educational settings. Specializing in progressive educational methods, he teaches business management, economics, and accounting. Eric's positive energy and commitment inspire excellence among students and colleagues alike.
Outside work, he enjoys football, volleyball, and gaming with friends, drawing inspiration from his close-knit circle of family and friends.

Audrey Adu-Amoah
Audrey has knowledge in economics. Her professional background includes impacting knowledge to learners and also managing scarce resources at her disposal.
Audrey challenges herself to undertake task which seems difficult to her.
She also has a passion for helping kids out in any diverse ways she can.
It is believed that adults are always right at where she comes from, but she goes beyond that to listen to the younger one’s point of view for all to be at par in resolving issues.

Isaac, a Special Education Recreation and Sports graduate from the University of Winneba, brings six years of dedicated teaching experience to Michael Blackson Academy. His expertise lies in delivering high-quality education and leadership, ensuring all students, including those with learning difficulties, achieve their full potential. Isaac is known for fostering a positive atmosphere both in the classroom and beyond.
In his free time, he enjoys walks, reading, and engaging in sports like football and handball. Music, dancing, and movies are his go-to stress relievers.

Deborah Amoakoah Nti-Mensah
Deborah brings a wealth of experience in hospitality management to her role at Michael Blackson Academy, having honed her skills in senior high school as part of the matron's staff during her national service. Her teaching journey continued at Roka International School, where she enriched students' lives for two years.
Known for creating a welcoming environment, Deborah is committed to personal growth and believes in the power of learning something new every day to expand her knowledge.
